Before coming into the center, the addicts body is already conditioned into using the drugs and therefore needs to change its way of working after getting off addiction. This is more fatal when you do it on your own. Your body reacts violently if you dont give it what it needs. But the medical doctor or professional will help your body adjust by giving you appropriate drugs that will bring your body back to its natural state.

When a victim of addiction is told about entering into an alcohol or drug rehab centers, the news is not often received happily. This is borne out of the sense of shame and worthlessness that an addict often feels and therefore reject going into a rehab center.
