Hispanic & Latino Community Treatment

from: Addiction can be described as a physical and mental dependence on any substance, narcotics or otherwise to carry out normal activities of daily life. The addict is not left with a choice and feels compelled to take the drug to sooth that irrepressible craving, despite being aware of the negative long term consequences of drug abuse. There are several physical, metal, financial and social problems attached to the addiction. One starts spending a lot of time procuring, using and recovering from the drug. As result the person is unable to fulfill his social obligations and starts underperforming in school or office. They no longer enjoy doing things that they normally enjoyed like hobbies, playing sports, socializing etc. But the biggest problem are the severe withdrawal symptoms like nausea, insomnia, sweating and anxiety the person experiences the moment he/she tries reduce the usage of the drug.
The ethnic label Hispanic is used to describe anyone with a Spanish speaking, Latin American background. The United States is home to millions of Latin American people who have infused the nation with richness and cultural diversity.
