During a therapy session you will be able to discuss issues linked to the addiction, things such as how to cope with the temptations, what are the difficulties that one faces when going out in the world, to work, to a bar etc., issues linked to family acceptance and so on. As a matter of fact, one can discuss just about everything that needs to get off of one's chest, so as to be able to continue staying sober or drug-free.

You can make friends among the people who attend the same group as you. The doctor can help you, but other patients can help you as well.
