JEFFERSON COUNTY > Motorcyclist killed • James E. Dayton, 61, of Festus, was killed about 10 p.m. Thursday in a motorcycle accident at Fischer Road at Highway 110, the Missouri Highway Patrol said. Police said the 2006 Harley-Davidson went off the highway and flipped over. Dayton, who was wearing a helmet, died at the scene.
