There are online directories available which give you information on the different treatment centers available in your locality. The treatment centers for alcohol addiction have a definite treatment plan that is based on the individual person and it also depends on the level of addiction that is being treated. So each and every patient will have a different treatment plan and diet restriction. When alcohol addicted people are treated there may be withdrawal symptoms like sweating, shakiness, anxiety and nausea. Such symptoms are common during addiction treatments. The physician or therapist would be able to provide medications that keep these symptoms under control. After you undergo treatment for your alcohol problems in these centers you should be able to live a normal life just like other human beings. Care should be taken so that the patient is not tempted to take up the drinking again. Counseling sessions with psycholgists, psychiatrist or a group managed by adequate professionals are recommended to restrict the urge to drink.
